Healthy Air

As the weather warms and I see people out running or jogging the streets, I am reminded of the basics.  We need good quality air when we exercise.  This does not occur upon busy streets.  I never run where I’m sucking in a bunch of carbon monoxide from the passing motorists.  I stick to the back streets or head out into the country.  Putting more toxins into the body for it to deal with is not the way to increase your endurance!   Instead it will drag you down and you will crash. (brings new meaning to the words “can’t catch your breath”)!

By the way, don’t eat the berries by the side of the road either.  No matter how much you are tempted! They aren’t nourishing food, not after their exposure to all the passing cars.
